Summer fun on the boat
I graduated from UWEC one year ahead of my then girlfriend, Amy. We knew we were going to get married, I just needed a job so I could buy her a ring. Whitewater was the first district to offer me a job. I took it thinking that if I didn't like it, I could try to find a different job the next year close to where Amy got a job. It turns out that I loved the place, and winning a girls state track and field championship that first year didn't hurt either. Late in my first year I heard a position was opening in the Special Education department at the high school. Amy applied and got the job, so we figured it was where we were meant to be.
This is my 18th year teaching. I have been at Whitewater High School for my entire career. I teach 2 sections of Advanced Math, 1 section of Probability and Statistics, and 1 section of Construction Math. I will be at the HS for the mornings only this year. My afternoons will be serving the district as the Technology Integrator. I have previously taught Practical/Applied Math, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Probability and Statistics, Pre-Calculus with Trigonometry, and Calculus. I am the head track and field coach for both the boys and girls. I graduated from Sheboygan South High School and UW-Eau Claire. Go BLUGOLDS!.
