Why Whitewater?

I started teaching Physics here in Whitewater in 1997. I was immediately impressed with the quality of teaching by the professionals at Whitewater High School, and at the quality of the kids. Over time I realized that I wanted my children to experience Whitewater Schools. We moved here in 2001 and I have not regretted it a single time. My children have had a great experience here. I cannot imagine a better place to educate children than here.

I have taught Physics since 1987. I graduated from the UW-Madison with a BS in Physics. I received a Master's degree from UW-Whitewater in 2005. My wife Kelly and I have two children. Nicki (WHS Class 2008) earned a PhD in Agronomy at Washington State University in 2016 and is now working at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. Andy (WHS Class 2013) earned his BS in Computer Science and Computer Engineering in May of 2017 from the UW-Madison and is working at CapitalOne in Chicago.
