I started teaching Physics here in Whitewater in 1997. I was immediately impressed with the quality of teaching by the professionals at Whitewater High School, and at the quality of the kids. Over time I realized that I wanted my children to experience Whitewater Schools. We moved here in 2001 and I have not regretted it a single time. My children have had a great experience here. I cannot imagine a better place to educate children than here.
I have taught Physics since 1987. I graduated from the UW-Madison with a BS in Physics. I received a Master's degree from UW-Whitewater in 2005. My wife Kelly and I have two children. Nicki (WHS Class 2008) earned a PhD in Agronomy at Washington State University in 2016 and is now working in a post-doctoral position at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis and Andy (WHS Class 2013) will earn his BS in Computer Science and Computer Engineering in May from the UW-Madison and has accepted a job at CapitalOne in Chicago.
