Mrs. Pamela Sonmor-Wintz, School Counselor (M - Z) and Coordinator of School Counseling Services

Hello! My name is Pamela Sonmor-Wintz and I have been a School Counselor at Whitewater High School since 1996. I have a Master of Science Degree in Counseling and Guidance from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Education / Trumpet Performance from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. I became the Coordinator of School Counseling Services at Whitewater High School in 2004 and advisor to the National Honor Society in 2003. I organize many events at WHS including registration, testing, transition programs, and the coordination of the local and area scholarship competition. I’ve enjoyed helping hundreds of students pursue their dream of college admission over the years through academic advising, career exploration, post-secondary planning, and individual planning conferences with students and their parents. Through individual and small group counseling, I help young people overcome personal challenges, solve problems, build confidence and develop healthy relationships. I work very hard to help all students become responsible, self-motivated citizens who have the knowledge and skills they need to reach their potential and achieve happiness & success in life.

In August of 2002, I was hired as the School Secretary at Lakeview.
