Over 16 years ago, I chose to teach and live in Whitewater because my future husband had a job as a math teacher at WHS. I was lucky to also get a job at the high school three months before we were married and we have been here since.
I love living in Whitewater because of the small town atmosphere. I am proud to raise my daughters in a town that we can call home.
I am in my 19th year of teaching at Whitewater High School. I graduated from UW-Eau Claire in May of 1999 with a degree in Special Education and received my masters in Professional Development from UW-La Crosse in May of 2007. At the end of July 2013, I received my reading licensure from UW-Whitewater.
My husband John and I have two daughters. Ella is 14 years old and is a ninth grader at the high school. Emilia is 11 years old and is a sixth grader at the middle school
Along with teaching, I am the student council advisor and the department head for the special ed department.
In my free time, I enjoy attending my daughters extra curricular activities, reading, working out, and traveling with my family.
