Career & Academic Portfolio Presentations by the Class of 2013

Beginning with the Class of 2013, all students at Whitewater High School will create an electronic Career & Academic Portfolio based upon their interests, strengths and individual educational plan.  The purpose of this requirement is to encourage students to showcase quality academic work, discover their strengths, set meaningful achievement goals, and understand the relationship between academic achievement in high school and postsecondary career and educational opportunities.  The goal of the program is to produce responsible Whitewater High School graduates who will begin their adult life with the knowledge, skills, motivation and a self-directed plan for career and lifelong success.

An internet-based, electronic portfolio program called Career Cruising is used to organize and manage information for the Career & Academic Portfolio Program.   The user name and password below provides access to the program and personal passwords are created when designing individual portfolios.   WHS students use their portfolios when applying for local & area scholarships in the spring, to support college applications, state & national scholarship applications, applications for employment, and for membership in organizations such organizations as National Honor Society and Future Business Leaders of America.  Students will be able to use their portfolios after graduating from high school as well.
