Jill Rausch
.
Welcome to my page!  My name is Mrs. Jill Rausch, and this is my 4th year as a special education teacher here at Whitewater High School.  I was recently married in April 2016, so many of you previously knew me as Miss Hernke.  I graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater in 2013 where I earned my bachelors degree in Special Education as well as a minor in Geology.  I was lucky enough to be placed at WHS for my student teaching placement which was my foot in the door at this great school district!  I started as a full time special education teacher in the 2014-15 school year and have loved getting to know the students and staff here.

Aside from teaching, I also am an assistant track and field coach.  I coach the throwing events, which I competed in throughout my time in high school as well as throughout my 4 years at UWW.  In my free time I enjoy being outdoors hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling, horseback riding, or hiking.  My husband and I also just got a black lab puppy, Stella, who keeps us very busy!

It has been an awesome first three years in the district and I am looking forward to a great career here at Whitewater High School!
