Girls Score Key Conference Victory
The McFarland Game

The Whippets come out on top Tuesday night with an exciting 74-72 home win against McFarland. Coah Harms stated, “The girls fought hard all night, earning our team a huge Conference win. Our guard play was outstanding, with Kacie Carollo pouring in 21, Abby Grosinske 18, and Allison Heckert 15. We did exactly what we were capable of tonight with our outside game, moving the ball around, and making solid decisions on our shooting selections. The girls took turns hitting key buckets, which made it tough for McFarland to shut us down. Brianna Zimdars scored the go-ahead free-throw, while Abby Grosinske hit another one to put us up 2. Rebounding was certainly a factor we talked about prior to the game. Grosinske grabbing the last rebound to secure the win was fitting.” The Whippets will travel to Edgerton Friday night for a first round Conference match-up.
