Welcome to the 2021 Whitewater Softball Season.

We are happy to be starting the 2021 season. Our first game is this coming Tuesday, April 27th at home against Clinton.

27 girls have come out for softball so we are able to field a Varsity and a Junior Varsity Team. After losing the 2020 season to covid, we are excited to get things under way in 2021.

Senior Softball All-Star Selections 2020

Three Whitewater softball players were selected to play in the WFSCA (Wisconsin Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association) senior all-star game in the Wisconsin Dells on June 15th and June 16th. The WFSCA all-star committee selects participants based on career statistics and honors. Coaches must nominate players who they believe would be good candidates for this competition.

The following girls have been honored to be named to the 2020 all-star team by the WFSCA all-star committee. They are Morgan Gransee, Bryce Hibbs and Alyssa Schumacher.

Gransee was a three year starter and had a .366 batting average for her career. She had 40 hits last year which placed her second in school history for hits in a season. She was a second team all-conference infielder as a sophomore and a first team all-conference outfielder as a junior. Morgan was selected as a first team all-district outfielder her junior year as well.

Hibbs was a two year starter (missed her sophomore year due to a torn ACL) who had a .367 career batting average. She had 38 hits last year which ties her for third in school history for hits in a season. Bryce was an honorable mention all-conference infielder as a freshmen and a first team all-conference infielder as a junior.

Schumacher was a three year starter and had a .505 batting average for her career. She hit .634 her junior year which broke the school record for average over a single season. Alyssa was an honorable mention all-conference catcher as a freshmen. Her sophomore year was her best as she was named first team all-conference, first team all-district and second team all-state as a catcher. As a junior, Alyssa missed 13 games due to an injury but she was still named first team all-conference and first team all-district.
