High School Band Teacher
New York-Time Square
An American in Paris Summer of 2016
Welcome to the WHS band page! My name is Mrs. Abigail Kading formerly Pulvermacher, and I am the High School Band Teacher. I will be teaching Jazz Band, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, RTI and small group instruction at the High School.

Brief Bio:
I received my Bachelors of Music Education and Spanish Minor from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in Spring of 2012. Oboe has been my primary instrument since 5th grade! I currently serve on the Wisconsin Advocacy for Music Education (WAME) committee, which strives to promote the importance of music education in schools, and serve on the Wisconsin Music Educators Association (WMEA) Council as the NAfME- Collegiate Adviser. I'm the co-director of the newly formed Rock River Concord Marching Band. This ensemble is part of the MACBDA (Mid American Competitive Band Directors Association) which functions over the summer. This is open to any students in the surrounding area.

Why Whitewater?
It has been an exciting time in Whitewater. While having attended UW-Whitewater I really grew fond of the Whitewater community and it has become my new home. Having the campus community a few blocks away is an amazing resource that benefits the Students at WHS
