Whitewater High School and The Walworth County Arts Council celebrate the recent successes of four Whitewater High School Writers: Rhiannan Carlock (not pictured) won 2nd Place and $200 for her prose submission "Heart Strings" at the county level, and Hailey Prager won 2nd Place and $200 for her poetry submission "The Silent Voices" at the county level. The Arts Council honored Hailey and Rhiannan at their banquet where the girls shared their writing and received their checks. Lydia Wiley-Deal won first place and $100 at the school level for her adaptation of the essay "The Stranger in the Photo is Me", and Maribel Alvarez-Pena won 2nd place at the school level and $50 for her college essay. The Arts Council thanks everyone who submitted writing and encourages everyone to participate again next year. Congratulations, Writers!
