Programmers Participate in Marquette University Competition
Marquette Contest

Marquette University went virtual this year with their annual programming competition, and Whitewater High School had 2 teams competing on Thursday, April 15, from a classroom at WHS. The contest included over 40 teams representing 24 different schools from throughout Wisconsin. Students worked for 3 hours in teams of 4 using the Java programming language to solve a series of problems through a special website that Marquette computer science students developed for the contest. Marquette sent t-shirts ahead of time and communicated with teams through videos, Meets, and discussion boards throughout the day.
