Homecoming Food Drive Nets 2,780 Pounds of Food Throughout District
Homecoming Food Drive

During Homecoming Week, Nelson's Bus sponsored the Fourth Annual Stuff the Bus event throughout the Whitewater Unified School District. Each school collected nonperishable food items that were donated to the Whitewater Food Pantry. With the help of the WHS Student Council, students "stuffed" the bus with all the food collected, and then delivered it to the Food Pantry. A total of 2,780 pounds of food was collected across the district. Way to go, WUSD! The Homecoming Food Drive and the FFA Stuff the Bus program operate in conjunction with one another to do great things for the community. Whitewater Unified School District is fortunate to have so many staff and students working together for such a great community cause.
